All our activities are geared towards creating technical problem solutions for our customers' requirements by adding individual product properties that far exceed the capabilities of the starting materials.
As one of the leading companies in the field of technical lamination, we process a wide variety of materials such as textiles, films, plastic sheets, aluminium, foams or paper up to a width of 3.20 m.

As a long-standing partner of the automotive industry, K.L. manufactures safety-critical components, high-quality surface materials for sophisticated interior design as well as functional composite materials for visible and invisible areas.
FlexiWarm®
FlexiWarm® is a conductive film developed by K.L. that can be designed to meet customer-specific requirements and acts as an ohmic resistance. The extremely thin, robust film is supplied by K.L. with ready-to-install components (e.g. cable harness, plug connections), for example.

The requirements for long-term durable and customer-specific adhesive tapes are our customers’ every day business. As a contract service provider, we are prepared for these specialised and customised product inquiries with technical solutions.
Materials
In order to manufacture high-quality products, we manufacture application-specific solutions from a wide variety of different materials.
For these customer-oriented developments, K.L. has an extensive modular system of films, nonwovens, coating materials, membranes, papers, foams, knitted fabrics and woven fabrics as well as various types of sheet material available. Thermoplastic and reactive adhesive groups, elastomers, butyls and bitumen with different application techniques enable the long-term stable multi-material construction methods of the future.
With smart problem solutions based on textile, chemical and engineering knowledge, the team at K.L. is able to specifically improve and expand the material effects.

Processes
K.L. has state-of-the-art laminating and coating systems with an annual production capacity of more than 90 million m².
We use this machinery to produce open coatings as well as single and multi-layer composites. Materials with a width of up to 3200 mm can be processed.
At the downstream stages of the value chain, we are happy to offer you further finishing steps such as the cutting of narrow rolls, punching of individual parts, packaging of short lengths and individual parts or other surface treatments such as perforation or printing.
Laboratory
K.L. has a laboratory facility that can reproduce all different types of connections on a small scale up to a width of 45 cm. There is also a fully equipped physical/technical testing laboratory that makes all relevant automotive testing scopes and production-related tests possible. We are happy to make our technical centre available to our customers, as well as students and institutes for their initial product ideas.
In addition, we have our own in-house automotive prototype construction department, which enables us to quickly provide you with ready-to-install components with our decorative materials, our heating elements or our safety-critical reinforcement and airbag materials.
