Founded in 1988, K.L. produces technical textiles, laminates and composite materials of all kinds at the conveniently located site in Bad Bentheim, Germany. With over 100 employees in the four business areas Automotive, Industrial, Hygiene and Tapes, KL produces over 500 different items.

K.L. and its employees see themselves as textile problem solvers and full-service partners. Based on a profound understanding of the technical and economic requirements, we assume responsibility for development and production across all the necessary value creation stages for our customers.

In our own laboratory facility, we develop customer and market-oriented technology and product roadmaps according to your specifications and requirements.

Product safety and certified quality

In order to ensure the greatest possible product safety for our customers, K.L. has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since the 1990s. In addition, we have had IATF 16949 certification in the automotive sector for years and implement the services required here company-wide. Complete traceability of all processing steps and the associated documentation is a matter of course for us.

We test the essential functional parameters of our composite materials either during production or afterwards in our own laboratory. Numerous successful CE approvals for our products, as well as various audits by top European companies from the automotive industry, the hygiene sector or the sensitive defence technology sector, encourage us in this consistent quality orientation.

The long-standing focus of our product and process development on maximum sustainability, in particular on the topics of resource-saving processes and the recyclability of products, led us to successfully have our Integrated Management System (IMS) certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001 in 2024.

Confidentiality, availability and integrity are extremely important to K.L.. In order to continue to meet the ever-increasing requirements of information security and data protection, K.L. successfully completed the TISAX® assessment (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) for the first time in 2024 (Scope ID: SM9K2T, Assessment ID: A85H62-2). We are therefore guided by the standards and catalogue of information security questions from the Verband der Automobilindustrie [Association of the Automotive Industry] (VDA ISA). With TISAX®, the ENX Association supports the common acceptance of information security tests in the automotive industry on behalf of the VDA. The TISAX® assessments are carried out by accredited testing service providers who provide proof of their qualifications at regular intervals. TISAX® and TISAX® test results are not intended for the general public. The result is only available via the ENX portal (Participant ID: P1HPPC): ENX.
